Our instructors are on-site at events and lessons to teach kids safety practices, use of a pole, tackle, baiting, and catching.

We welcome old and new fishing poles and tackle that are just sitting around collecting dust. Donations can be given to group locations in Lancaster and Marion, OH. Pickup can be scheduled within a reasonable distance. Donations are tax deductible.

FISHING LESSONS FOR 2023
2023 Fishing Lessons will begin the second Monday and Tuesday of June at 6 pm at Cheers Chalet 1211 Coonpath Rd. NW. and run every week on Monday and Tuesday until the 1st Monday and Tuesday of August.
(No sign up just show up and we have all the equipment necessary)
Friday at Rising Park 5 pm
All other days by app

Two children who have signed up and participated in our fishing lessons, with one parent each, will have the opportunity to spend the day on Lake Erie aboard Playing Hooky Charters fishing for perch. Additonal details can be found on our Facebook page - Kids Who Hunt and Fish Dont Steal or Deal, Inc.
Winners are responsible for transportation to the lake, licensing as required by ODNR/DOW, food and beverages. Winners will be notifed by phone.

to be entered.

Parent or Guardian must sign the Waiver. Each lesson will get one entry. We will draw on the 20th of August and the child drawn and one parent gets to go on
